Palliative/hospice care in the comfort of your home may be an option if your pet is suffering from a terminal illness, or if your elderly pet is declining as they near the end of their life. In these difficult circumstances, our goal is to make your pet’s final days more peaceful, dignified, and comfortable with medical care customized for your pet's needs. Examples include proper pain control, dietary support, and subcutaneous fluid administration.

Dr. Bell will examine your pet and consult with you to determine if palliative/hospice care is right for your pet. We will then develop an individualized plan to support your pet's quality of life and guide them gracefully towards the end of their life in a way that minimizes pain and suffering.
